AWS will patch the underlying operating system of instances in our RDS cluster(s) with the latest OS updates between Monday, March 3rd, 2025 – 19:00 CE(S)T and Monday, March 3rd, 2025 – 23:00 CE(S)T. AWS patches instances to address security vulnerabilities. To ensure client I/O continuity during the update that is performed as part of the patching process, we recommend limited trading activity.
